The transformation is significant but focuses primarily on an internal reorganization of the space. This major renovation does not involve altering the building’s structure, nor modifying the facades. The building’s extension is located at the rear of the existing volume. The goal is to create a discreet addition that integrates with the existing building while respecting it. The new section is architecturally distinguished by the use of materials such as plaster and glass, but remains in perfect harmony with the existing building. The project strictly adheres to the original dimensions, including cornice height, volume proportions, and alignment with the brickwork pattern. The front facade undergoes only a ‘facelift’ of the entrance hall area. At the back, the project proposes a layout of functions around a landscaped garden and a transparent, open architecture.
This concept maximizes the penetration of natural light into the bank branch to create a pleasant working environment for employees as well as for clients who visit the bank. The project program consists of a bank branch mainly located on the ground floor. The upper floor remains unchanged. The branch’s floor area will be increased by approximately 88 m² on the ground floor.
