The architectural project aims for a harmonious integration into the existing urban fabric by replacing an outdated building with a contemporary, compact, and flexible construction, positioned at the street front. The proposed volume follows the heights, proportions, and vertical rhythms characteristic of Jardon Street, while introducing a modern expression through a white expanded metal facade, which is durable and requires little maintenance. The intervention fully exploits the advantages of the site, particularly its slope, allowing for the integration of an economical and functional semi-underground parking. Vertical and horizontal circulation is centralized, freeing up the facades for offices filled with natural light. A walkway connects the new building to the existing entities, ensuring continuity of use. The program meets the client’s requirements and adds useful spaces (bike room, showers, technical rooms, kitchenette, modular rooms). The building offers great flexibility thanks to a regular 135 cm structural grid, facilitating future reconfigurations. The office floors are complemented by terraces and patios promoting staff comfort and interaction.
The dispatch room, a strategic element of the project, is secure, accessible 24/7, and located on the ground floor. Technical systems ensure its operational continuity. The distribution of levels is clear: technical basement, ground floor for reception and dispatch, upper floors for services, top level for the board of directors with a panoramic terrace. Finally, the project plans a judicious phasing to maintain on-site activity during the work and reaches a total capacity of 197 parking spaces. The whole emphasizes architectural coherence, functionality, economy of means, and great adaptability.
