Jala Hotel

construction of a hotel

The hotel, because of its strategic location on the outer edge of the area and from the point of view of its urban backdrop, offers a bolder design which is intended to make it a landmark building that redraws the urban landscape.

The rounded form of the hotel means that the number of dwellings with neighbours immediately opposite to the front can be minimised because of the limited straight lines of the building. The transparency and lightness of the ground floor are ideal for commercial outlets that open onto the square. Upper floors are arranged radially and developed around a central plaza and vertical flows. This radial pattern allows a dynamic alignment of the flats, which open outwards onto the external frontage.
