Ferme Dupont (PPP)

construction and marketing of houses, apartments and retail areas

The project involved the design, construction and marketing of a complex of 73 houses, 31 apartments, a multi-purpose community centre and retail space (convertible into apartments). The development is part of the new “Ferme Dupont” housing estate in Tubize and located between an existing residential neighbourhood and farmland.

All apartments have a simple and clear layout, and their spatial organisation has been designed with a view to not losing any space and making the most of natural lighting, with the direction in which rooms face dependent on what they are used for.

The houses, whether for sale as private houses or for rent as social accommodation, are all functional, each has its own garden, and each has its living rooms looking out over the garden. Like the apartments, the houses similarly make the most of natural lighting, as seen by the direction in which the back and front facades face.

The architecture is sober, simple, elegant and in harmony with the surroundings. Our proposal was to establish a new neighbourhood featuring modern architecture, using energy-saving technologies while keeping the homes affordable.

The quality outside spaces are designed to let residents mix together and to allow small children to play in complete safety. The landscaping features a duality of minerals and plants combining relaxation and low maintenance.
